Start with a job for the screen
Before buying software, decide what the screen should achieve. Is it informing customers, creating interaction, promoting offers, generating a new commission opportunity or a mixture of those things?
LAKADE focuses on interaction: one live message, a visible QR and an automatic queue. That makes it different from a traditional playlist of advertising slides.
Use existing hardware when it makes sense
If a business already has a compatible browser screen and internet, adding more hardware simply to begin a test may be unnecessary. Starting with the existing setup lowers risk and makes it easier to decide whether the concept belongs in the venue.
If the current television cannot run a suitable browser reliably, a small external browser device or another display may still be needed.
Design for a person standing several metres away
Tiny text and complicated menus fail on physical screens. The main message should be readable quickly and the QR must be large enough for the expected distance.
A customer should not need to understand the partner dashboard or the underlying network. They only need to understand what they can do on the screen.
Choose metrics that reflect the real environment
A web browser cannot tell you exactly how many people in a bar, salon or restaurant are physically looking at a television. Treating one browser as one viewer creates false precision.
Use operational and commercial metrics instead: number of active screens, monthly web visits, paid takeovers, queue activity and attributed partner transactions.
- ✓Define a clear purpose before adding technology
- ✓Test with existing compatible hardware first
- ✓Use large readable messages and QR codes
- ✓Prefer real commercial metrics over fake physical viewer counts
- ✓LAKADE adds an interactive takeover model rather than a static slide playlist
Is LAKADE traditional digital signage software?+
Not exactly. It is built around live message takeovers, QR interaction, country networks and private queues rather than a normal scheduled slide playlist.
Can a small business start without new hardware?+
Yes, when it already has a compatible browser-capable screen and internet.
Can web analytics count everyone looking at a physical TV?+
No. A single browser can represent many people in a room, which is why physical audience claims should not be inferred from browser sessions.
